CAMPDEN TABLETS (Potassium Metabisulphite)

  Contains 550mg of active sulphite per tablet. Most professional winemakers prefer these tablets for several reasons:  free sodium ions in Sodium Tablets may leave an unpleasant aftertaste in your wine, Potassium Sulphite stays fresher longer and doesn't develop an off-smell like Sodium Sulphite when exposed to air.  Finally, potassium is somewhat healthier than sodium.
